For 2026 we are once again planning a driving tour in the BC interior. We have planned a 3 day driving event using Nelson BC as our base.
The plan is for those who want to participate to make their own travel arrangements to Nelson, BC. We are starting the event there so people have the ability to travel to and from at their own pace, or extend the trip timing or visit friends or family along the way. It is our intention for ourselves, to make this a 2 day drive to get there. Check-in at the resort listed below is on June 1st and we will depart June 5th. This allows us to have driving and touring events on June 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
Our plan is to stay at a WorldHotels property called Prestige Lakeside Resort. We have made arrangement for a variety of rooms to chose from, 2 queen or king, city side or lake view. The hotel does not include breakfast, however, there are restaurants on property so you can definitely arrange breakfast daily at the hotel. We have booked a block of rooms and once members have registered to attend by completing the RSVP, we will send you a booking link to proceed with a hotel reservation. The room rates for either 2 queen or king on the city side are $247.96 and the 2 queen or king lake view rooms are $303.96 per night.m rates are very similar.

We have planned 3 great scenic days of driving as well as looking into some possible activities.
We are going to limit registrations to 10 vehicles. The first opportunities will be available to Red River Region members. We encourage registration as soon as possible as once we receive the completed RSVP form, we will send you the booking link for the hotel.
