As we close the books on an incredible year, I want to take a moment to thank everyone of you for your unwavering support and dedication to the Red River Region of the Porsche Club of America. 2025 was a remarkable year for our club, filled with new members, new adventures, meaningful connections, and memories that will last a lifetime.
One of the highlights of the year was our successful holiday gala, where we raised nearly $4,000 in support of the United Way. This achievement is a testament to the generosity and spirit of our members. Congratulations to our grand prize winners, John Novak, who took home the golf package from the Porsche Center Winnipeg, and Gwen Waedt, who scored the Jets box tickets thanks to the donation from our members, Michael and Jodi Unger.
Looking back on our year, it’s amazing to see just how much we’ve accomplished. From celebrating the PCA’s 70th anniversary at the Porsche Center Winnipeg to hosting 11 Cars and Coffee events—including one at the Porsche Center and another at our partner Protex—the energy and enthusiasm of our members have been unmatched. We also participated in several car shows, community events, and hosted 8 individual drives, including a spectacular 3-day road trip in Osoyoos, BC. With 11 general meetings at various locations, it’s clear that our community is growing every year.
None of this would have been possible without the efforts of our board members, committee chairs, volunteers, and, of course, our sponsors and supporters. Your hard work and commitment have been essential to our success.
As we look ahead to 2026, we are already planning for another exciting year. We can’t wait to share more details with you, our drive calendar will be posted soon. Your ideas and suggestions have always been at the heart of our planning, and we welcome your input as we strive to make each event even better than the last.
Whether you’re a long-time member or new to the club, we want you to be a part of what’s next. We’ll continue to offer a mix of social, driving, and community-focused events to keep things fresh and exciting. And as always, we encourage you to share your thoughts on new locations or routes for our drives—your creativity helps keep our club dynamic and full of surprises.
