Alas, the end is neigh (at least for those of us who put our Porsches away for the winter). The days are getting shorter and the temperatures are dropping. Let’s hope we have a warm and dry fall so we can get a few more days of driving before the snow flies!
So far this year we’ve tried to do as much as we can to celebrate our 20th year as a Porsche club in Red River Region. We had our Rockies tour in June which was a great success and we have another major event this Sunday (September 6th) our Concours d’Elegance at The Gates. Last I’ve heard we have 50 cars entered and about 88 people in attendance including some of the original Board members from 20 years ago as well as Julie Bailey our PCA Zone 10 representative.
If you are unable to attend the Concours we have our regular meetings (1st Wednesdays of the month meeting starting at 7 p.m. but come earlier to have supper with us) at Tony Romas on St. James St). Also, our last major event this year is our Holiday dinner at the Manitoba Club which will be on November 30th (more information and invitations to come).
We have had many new members this year (thanks to Ryan at Porsche Centre Winnipeg) and hope everyone, new and old, can stay involved with the Club!
