15 club members in 7 cars joined our Drive and Dinner on August 17.
The group met at Tim Hortons 1795 Brookside Blvd. (east side of route 90 just south of Inkster)
It’s hard to get a scenic drive in this part of the country but we found a route that was new for most of us. The roads we used were Rte 90, Rte 190, 101, 6,236, 67, 8, Whytewold Road and we arrived at Whytewold Emporium at around 6:15 pm.
Helmut and Gwen welcomed us at the restaurant.
The large group caused some back-log in the kitchen, but that gave everyone the chance to catch out with other club members. The food was very good and some members stayed a bit longer after the dinner.
